Happy Dragon Boat Festival! 端午節快樂!
今天是一年一度的端午節，剛好也有4天連假! 但是放假同時也不要忘記要繼續學英文唷!!
端午節: the Dragon Boat Festival [龍舟節]
端午節會吃粽子、喝雄黃酒、掛香包，還有龍舟比賽
粽子: rice dumpling / zongzi
雄黃酒: realgar wine
龍舟: dragon boat
龍舟比賽: dragon boat race
划龍舟: paddle a/the boat race
香包: sachet
艾草: Chinese mugwort
另外在端午節的中午，大家會玩立蛋，英文就說egg balancing，雞蛋保持平衡的遊戲，就可以說Let's balance the eggs. (也有用stand的說法唷!)

The Dragon Boat Festival is on the 5th Day of the 5th Lunar Month. The Dragon Boat Festival is for commemorating the death of Qu Yuan, who was a statesman, patriot, and poet in the ancient China. He committed suicide because the Qin Kingdom took over the Chu Kingdom. The local people threw rice dumplings, aka zongzi, into the river in order to protect Qu’s body from being eaten by the fish. Nowadays, people eat the rice dumplings and watch the dragon boat races to celebrate it. In addition, people bring sachets, hang Chinese mugwort, and drink realgar wine on the Dragon Boat Festival.
